Getting 17002 Error When Trying to Package with ODT

I've tried several ways, with different config files, etc, and the packaging process keeps failing.  I've researched the error, and can't seem to find a solution. Below are the errors from the log file:

For reference, here is the latest config file I've used (but I've gotten the above errors no matter how I've "massaged" the config file:

we have (20 Volume License ) for Office Std 2013 - have installed it on a new PC, but under the Product Information (in Accounts) it is saying "Product is unlicensed"

have tried to update the Product Key but no change to status 

pls advise

Office 365 and Existing Office 2010 Docs

I already have the 2010 Office Suite, but my institution of higher learning offers Office 365 to all students. I would like to take advantage of 365's portability. If I install Office 365 on my Mac, will it allow me to access all of my existing docs in Office 2010 that I already have on my MacBook Pro?

OneNote Creator not Appearing for Users

We download the App for OneCreator for our Teachers and Students.  However after following the online instructions, the Tab will not appears on the Office 365 Cloud menu for our District.

I see the app within the Content, but I am lost at how to move it over to the Sharepoint menu.

O365ProPlusRetail installation via GPO

I am trying to deploy O365ProPlusRetail via GPO and a .bat script but infortunatelly the installation fails. In my temp dir I have 5 log files related to my installation (1 main and a, b, c, d).

Outlook 2013 and Lyn 2013 - conversation history is saved in different user mailbox

I am using Lyn 2013 and outlook 2013. with only single user signed in Lync conversation history is saved in outlook correctly. Now when another user logs in to my Lync 2013 and then logs off. then i log in back to the Lync and start conversations, this time my conversations are saved in other user's outlook conversation history folder. 

In short, 

Lync - 1 user logged in - conversations saved in his mailbox

Lync - 2nd User logs in and 1st user logs in back - Conversations stored in 2nd user mailbox

Installing Visio removes Office (Click-to-Run)

So, everyone in my company uses Office 2013 Click-to-Run edition.

Recently when we install Visio Click-to-Run, Office is removed! Well, at least the shortcuts are removed. Strange. Anyone else seen this?

Why must every month be a new challenge with this Office 365 thing. D:

Ms office 2013 template error

I just installed my Technet copy of Office 2013. Whenever I try to use a ready template, I get a error - "something went wrong while downloading your template". same message in word, excel, powerpoint. pl help

Error 25004 Installing on new laptop

Error 25004 trying to install Office Pro 2013 on brand new laptop with DVD that I burned. I installed original copy of Office 2013 on desktop this last week and then created a DVD copy of Office Pro 2013. When I run the setup from the laptop (Windows 10 Home 64 bit OS)  it installs the files but never asks me for my product key then gives me the error code at the end with the statement "The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine. This is most likely due to previous Office 2013 trials being installed (System error: 1073422314). Since this is a brand new laptop no versions of Office has been installed previously. Also my copy of Office Pro 2013 was purchased through a VLC.

Office 2013 Crashing After Printing to HP Laser Printers

I have a customer with an HP Elite computer, Windows 8, and Office 2013 (perpetual license, NOT Office 365).  The first page of a print job to an HP laser printer comes out fine.  However, it will not print another page.  Word or Excel hangs, and then asks to "Restart, or Close".  After the first page, if I go to Task Manager, I see "Windows Host Process (Rundll32) Not Responding".  Also when I close Windows 8, I get the message hpmsn140.dll or hpmsn09.dll "Not Responding".

This problem does not occur with other applications.

This problem does not occur with other non-HP LaserJet printers.

This problem occurs with both USB and network printers.

The only way to clear the problem is rebooting the computer.

I have tried the Windows 8 driver, HP's PCL 6 driver from their website, and HP Universal Print Driver from their website.  All have the same issue.

I have tried logging in as Administrator, as well as, the Standard User.  Both logins have the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Word and Excel Crash on print with Windows 10

I recently installed windows 10. When I try to print from Word 2013 it crashes. I can print a powerpoint and an adobe pdf fine. When will this be fixed?

Migration of Public Folders Fails with:The current derserialized object size is 78694400.

Trying to Migrate 2111 Public folders totaling 16GB to Office 365.  Individual Mailboxes have all been migrated.  I'm following the details in https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn874017 and in running step 5 (for ~8 hours) theNew-MigrationBatch command fails with : "The current deserialized object size of the data received from the remote client exceeded allowed maximum object size. The current deserialized object size is 78694400, Allowed maximum object size is 78643200."

I'm no expert at Powershell or this clumsy migration process so hopefully someone can shed some light on this error for me.

On premise Office and Office 365 hybrid deployment query

I am currently running Office 2010 standard on premise. I runs my infrastructure using MS Terminal Services and I need to know if this will technically / practically work when misxed with a new deployment of Office 365 -can I run a mixed mode i.e. continue with on premise for some users and Office 365 for others?

Are there any potential pitfalls/ technical things I need to be aware of?

Problem with Sync

Hi everyone,

I have the following setup : local AD synced with Office365 through Synchronization Service Manager (AAD).

When I installed Azure Sync service on my W2008R2 server, the installer created a scheduled task which is actually working.

The problem is that scheduled task is only running the following operations :

"Delta Import" and "Delta Synchronization"

Whenever this task runs, no changes are actually made to my Office365. I have to run a manual "Export" operation through the software so the changes are taken into account in Office365.

I would like to know if I can make a script or anything else to automate the "Export" task.

I have already tried to run the command DirectorySyncClientCmd.exe initialbut it has the same effect, I have to manually run the Export command so the changes are really pushed into Office365.

One Drive for Business - External Users are unable to access shared folders and files

When sharing a folder or file on One Drive to an external user using there organizational email address or personal email (Google, Yahoo, etc. email address) the user can not access. They get prompted to create a Microsoft email account. I read on a Microsoft forum to " send a Guest Link feature or uncheck the "required sign-in. I do not have either option available to me. We need to allow are clients to access folders or files with there non-Microsoft email address or no permissions at all. Any assistance would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Is there any way to set up policy tips while sending any mail to outside the organization in exchange2013 without adding any sensitive information.

Exchange2013 DLP policy tips work only when sending mails with any sensitive data,but we require any mail which is going outside should pop up policy tips and user should receive the override option.

Also having the help  whether Exchange2013 policy tips will work on active sync account in mobile or need any other application to achieve this.

Excel Telemetry - Which version installed per computer

I've successfully deployed Office Telemetry to my environment which has a mixed installation base of Office 2003-2013. I'd like to be able to generate a custom report identifying which version of office each computer is running. Unfortunately, I'm not a database guru and I can't seem to figure out how to create a custom report showing me what I want. Anybody out there have a solution for me?

Autodiscovery Outlook 2016 and Exchange 2013

Hi we are testing Office 2016 and have noticed that Autodiscovery in Outlook 2016 works a bit different than in Outlook 2013.

In Outllook 2013 Users where not prompted to give their user password when starting outlook for the first time and using autodiscovery.

When starting Outlook 2016 autodiscovery works and finds the needed information about the users but the user needs to provide user password. Is this because OAuth is only supported with Exchange 2016?
