Intune Users name email message

Recently, we deployed Microsoft Identity Management 2016.  We have a rule to set a users display name as Goesby (From Oracle) + Lastname.  This is because many people do not use their first name.

Intune is utilizing the users First Name as From in an email message and adding this to contacts on the Intune device.  It says Skype for business added the contact.

We can delete this incorrect contact and at first it switches to the correct display name.  However within seconds it reverts to the FirstName + LastName.  We want it to stick with Goesby+LastName.

Any ideas how we can get Intune and Skype to read the correct display name.
