I am getting a General Mail Failure in Excel which I can't seem to resolve.
Background:
I installed the full office suite on a MS Surface running Windows 10, Outlook was not needed after install so I removed it through Control Panel. I have since set up an account on Windows Mail.
When I try to send a file from Excel I recieve two error messages the first is "There is no programme associated to perform the requested action..." then the next is a "General Mail Failure".
I have checked default programmes and the file association by protocol and all are set to Windows Mail. I have also 'repaired' the office install through control panel and re-booted.
Any ideas?
