I installed Office 2013 on a Windows 8 computer. I get documents from users of other versions (2010,2007). These documents open in Compatibility mode.
When I try to print them to my Ricoh laser printer, there are often random lines of charactors, solid black graphics, and blank pages at the end of the document. The same document prints without issue from computers using earlier versions of Office 2010 and 2007, and similar native Office 2013 documents have no issue from this workstation and printer.
The issues seem to occur on pages with abundence of graphics (doc) and shading (xls). Most of the documents in question are in 97-2003 fromat.
Documents seem to print ok to my cheap inkjet printer. Non-Office documents print fine. The printer has the latest driver and firmware. This seems to be a "Compatibility" issue. Has anyone else seen this issue? Is there a fix available?
