Just successfully added and configured a new domain within the Office 365 environment and I am trying to setup and create a new SharedMailbox, that is configured with an SMTP address, based on the new domain.
As soon as I click on 'Save', an error is returned; "The proxy address "smtp:info@***" is already being used by "{EC87***}". Please choose another proxy address.". The problem being, the mentioned proxy address does not correlate to the newly configured domain and used (primary) SMTP address. It displays a proxy address for another domain I use (and that is configured) within Office 365.
Fully appreciate that this might be an easy-fix question and I am positive I'm overlooking something (the blind-spot, so to speak), but nonetheless appreciate a kind gesture and root-cause.
