Send and receive button does nothing

Hi all,

I have a problem and I have no idea how to solve it. 

I installed Outlook 2010 on my Windows XP. I configured 2 accounts: exchange account and pop3 account.

The problem is that I don´t receive from the pop3 account. I went to the button Send and receive, in order to include all the accounts, but when I click on that button nothing happens. I created new profile but the problem still goes on.

Any idea???.
