Client had purchased 12 copies of Microsoft Office 2013 with a previous IT company and after fixing a problem with Office, the software deactivated itself. The previous IT company won't help and we exhausted all logins that we are aware of.
We called Microsoft and they said there is no way around this problem, that the account is required to use the software because the product keys have been redeemed to this account.
Does anyone know a workaround for this? It seems insane that someone has to spend $3,600 because Microsoft refuses to activate software 'we' paid for, with a receipt and the product key cards in hand.
