Is it possible/practicable to effectively operate one of the MS office suites (say Home and Business and Office 2013 Professional ) or later versions, from a privately hosted web site?
I already have one business and one family web site where I can, say, set up a hidden page for access, or even start a new website just for this purpose.
The intent would be that I can have all my Outlook contact management .pst, Word, Excel, etc., files in one place, accessible (by me only - no multiple users) from any on-line capable device I may have access to, to be able to update all the files from the remote location I may be working at.
I was led to believe - a few years ago, that it may be difficult for Outlook because of some kind of time delay factor, but, hopefully, that problem may have been overcome since then.
NOTE: Office 365 does not include Office Outlook (a contact management program) which is my primary reason for this inquiry. Why on earth MS re-used the name Outlook for their new email program defies logic.
