I seem to be struggling more than I should with trying to get automatic updates for Office 2013 or 2016 volume license version. It used to be part of Windows update, check the box that says 'obtain other office product with Windows' or something like that. That has been removed. Clients are still primarily Windows 7 with some Windows 10.
If you are running Click to Install, then there is an update button under the File menu. But, if you are just running the volume licensing there seems to be no clear way to obtain these. I can try via WSUS but I'd rather not.
Can someone please educate me on how I can get computers in a domain to obtain Office updates. They don't seem to be applying standard Windows updates.
