Yammer : Unread notifications wont go away even after all the messages in Inbox are read !!

The issue persists both in my android and Desktop.

Steps performed :

-Reinstalled Yammer in android - no go

-Tried removing the browser cache and resetted the browser entirely - doesnt seem to resolve the issue

Any other leads ?
