Purchased Home Student Office but NOT informed that it automatcally installs on C Drive which is an SSD

I have read the hacks using the JUNCTION parameter for the 3 directiories. Is this an acceptable route that Microsoft endorses? Like everyone I expected to change the location during the installation.

I had Outlook 2016 already installed. If there is no work around I I wish to uninstall Home Office and request a refund would the uninstallation affect the Outlook product?Thank you in anticipation
