Good day
First off, I apologize if this is the incorrect category, but I could not find anything more suitable.
I recently moved to a new company and we have an issue with regards to Migration to Office 365.
Background and structure:
Current Exchange Host -
The current Exchange Hosting is done by a 3rd party provider, we do not have access in any form to the actual server and/or back end. They, for obvious reasons, do not want to assist with the actual Migration as we are taking business away from them, so in a nutshell we need to download all .ost files and then re-upload to the office 365.
Office 365 -
We are a Gold MS Partner and have Enterprise E3 licenses that we want to use.
The issue is the actual migration, as said before, we will need to download all .ost files and from there we can use the Azure Migration tool to assist to create all accounts. The issue is the actual download and upload, we have more than 100 mailboxes each with more than 5GB or so mail. Basically this is going to take a long time and very tedious to complete.
Question -
Is there no way I could point the office 365 to the existing exchange server to pull all the info directly from the source to populate the accounts? Is this even possible?
Thanks for any assistance!
