I am trying to open Outlook for a returning employee. When this employee left the company last year, all of his accounts were deleted (exchange account, Active Directory account...). I recreate the employee's Active directory account and his Exchange account so that he can once again have access to email. When opening outlook on his computer we receive the following error message:
"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object. See the folder contact or your system administrator"
Prior to recreating his accounts I made sure that he was indeed deleted when he left. Would this be a matter of .pft files left behind and a new one trying to recreate? If you could please steer me towards the right direction to figuring this out I'd be very thankful.
