ERROR: "You don't have permissions to create an entry in this folder. right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions on the folder. See the Folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions"
The permissions are fine, I've checked and double checked them. The user "default" has "Author" on the calendar (I gave myself "full access" in exchange to allow me to see/edit the calendar's properties). So ultimately we determined this:
- Office 2013 users can not open the calendar, and directly add an entry by double-clicking a time slot on the calendar, the above error shows up
- Office 2010 users can do this
- Our current work around is Office 2013 users create an event in their OWN calendar, and simply "invite" the resource calendar to the event, and the calendar "auto-accepts" (We have pretty loose policies/permissions, so this calendar is more-less wide open for all to add to)
Does anyone know is there is a fix for our 2013 users on this? Has Microsoft acknowledged this bug to be fixed soon?
Thanks,

in SCHEDULE VIEW, no permissions issue.
